Getting Started

What LeadGen AI is, the seven engines, and your first steps.

Getting started with LeadGen AI

LeadGen AI is your entire growth team, run by one AI agent. You describe what you want in a chat box and the agent does the work across seven sales engines — finding leads, writing outreach, generating video, running an affiliate program, and more.

This guide gets you oriented in about five minutes. Skim the headings, or read it all for the full picture.

What you can do here

Everything lives in one workspace, reachable from the left sidebar:

  • AI Agent — the chat-driven coworker that can run every other engine for you.
  • Cold Lead Engine — scrape, AI-score, and email prospects from one inbox.
  • Affiliate & Partner Engine — run your own partner program end to end.
  • Social & Video — generate videos, images, and posts, then schedule them.
  • Lead Magnets — build courses, challenges, and PDF downloads.
  • Plus research, analytics, and content tools the agent can reach on its own.

You can drive all of it two ways: click into a specific engine in the sidebar, or just ask the agent in plain language.

Your first steps

  1. Finish your business profile. The onboarding wizard collects your company, audience, and brand voice so the agent's output sounds like you. Edit it anytime under Settings → Business Config.
  2. Connect what you need. Add API keys and email accounts under Settings → APIs & Integrations and Settings → Email Accounts — only for the engines you actually plan to use.
  3. Open the Agent Chat and try a request, e.g. "Find 25 marketing agencies in Texas and draft a cold email."
  4. Keep an eye on credits. Everything the AI does costs credits; your live balance is always shown in the sidebar.

Tips for great results

  • Be specific. "Find 50 B2B SaaS founders in fintech and write a 3-step sequence" beats "get me leads."
  • Let the agent ask. If a request is ambiguous, the agent asks a clarifying question before spending credits.
  • Automate the repeats. Use Tasks and Workflows for anything recurring so you're not re-typing the same request.
